Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Dallas, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Work consists of 1. Travis Academy Scope consists of a building addition with masonry veneer exterior, on steel studs framing, a structural steel frame, and a modified bituminous roof. The foundation will be a concrete slab foundation supported with concrete drilled piers. There will be a limited area mechanical crawlspace tunnel. 2. A storm shelter building will be included in with the building addition. 3. The current school renovations will consist of demolition of the hydronic steam system and installing a new VAV system. 4. The site will have relocation of three portable classroom buildings and demolition of one portable classroom building. 5. The parking lot will be expanded by adding on to the existing concrete parking lot. Technical questions are to be referred in writing to the A/E firm at (with a copy to the Bond Program Manager:A/E Firm Name:IDG Architects *As of March 4, 2019, no changes have been made to the bid date and no addenda have been issued. However, addendum one is expected to be issued within the next few days.
