A Pre-Bid Conference to discuss the Contract will not be held. The Work in Contract No. 19-01 is to be substantially completed within 90 days from the specified date. The Contract involves the construction of a new elevated water treatment building, elevated generator platform, and raw waterline with a relocated entry point. It also involves the relocation of the existing equipment and generator to the new water treatment building, along with installing new equipment in the new water treatment building. For Contract No. 19-01, Bids will be based on a lump sum basis. Inquiries related to this solicitation shall be submitted via the "Questions" feature within electronically. Bid security must be provided at the time of bid submission in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price made payable to Waterville Water Association in the form of a certified or bank check or a bid bond issued by an accepted surety and executed by the bidder. Surety companies executing bonds must be listed in the U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570, as currently amended, and be authorized to be in business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. When the Successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to Owner, it must be accompanied by the required Performance and Payment Bonds. The Performance and Payment Bonds shall be in the amount of 100% of the liability of the Contract.
