Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fort Worth, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a 500-square-foot road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of May 8, 2019, this project has not awarded a general contractor but an apparent low bidder has been identified. An award is expected to be made by mid May 2019. The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: Unit I: o 12,550 SY of new 4-Lane Divided Reinforced Concrete Roadway o 3,000 SY of Permanent Asphalt Roadway o 24,000 SF Reinforced Concrete Sidewalk o 5,000 SF TxDOT Standard Retaining Wall Unit II: o 60 LF 8" Water Line Relocation o 354 LF 6x4 Reinforced Concrete Box o 67 LF 4x2 Reinforced Concrete Box o 290 LF 24" Reinforced Concrete Pipe Unit III: Pavement Marking and Signage Improvements Unit IV: Street Lighting Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid Bond made payable to City in an amount of five (5) percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price on form attached,issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 5.01 of the General Conditions. The city's mbe goal on this project is 17 %of the total bid value of the contract (base bid applies to parks and community services). City reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject bids
