As of March 29, 2024 the project was awarded to SIGNSVERSE LLC with an awarded amount of $22648.75. The Texas General Land Office ("GLO") and the Texas Veterans Land Board ("VLB") (collectively the "GLO/VLB") issue this Invitation for Bids ("IFB") to solicit bids from entities to provide and install signage, as detailed in Exhibit B and Exhibit C, for the Tuskegee Airmen Texas State Veterans Home located in Fort Worth, Texas. SCOPE OF SERVICES REQUESTED Signage Specifications a) Provide and install ADA compliant signage according to drawings and specifications, as detailed in Exhibit B and Exhibit C b) Products equivalent in design may be accepted but must be ADA compliant. c) Delivery/Installation to be coordinated with GLO/VLB Project Manager d) Awarded vendor must submit samples for approval to GLO/VLB Project Manager e) All final quantities and field verifications are the responsibility of the vendor. Any discrepancies shall be brought to the attention of the GLO. Installation a) Install signs plumb, level and square and in proper planes with other work, at heights required by accessibility codes and standards. b) Attach as recommended by sign manufacturer. c) Room name signs shall be placed on the public side of the door except where noted otherwise. d) Single Door Sign: Provide one sign as specified above, mounted to wall adjacent to door on knob side. e) Pair of Doors: Provide one sign as specified above, mounted to adjacent wall closest to active leaf of door. f) Do not install sign where it will be obstructed by door when door is in the 'open' position. g) Signs shall be delivered to the project site with the tape in place and trimmed on each sign, but with the protective paper layer not removed. Paper layer shall be removed just prior to installation of signs. h) All installation work must comply with ADA. NOTE: Substitutions may be proposed and submitted; however, they must meet or exceed the specifications of the items listed below. All proposed substitutions will be evaluated and approved at the GLO/VLB's sole discretion. Respondents must submit detailed specifications for any substitution. Special Instructions a) Bidder must deliver items inside the facility in the specified quantities. b) Bidder must provide one point of contact for the project who will coordinate delivery and any other related duties with the Texas General Land Office. c) There is no pre-bid site visit availability. d) Delivery Location: Tuskegee Airmen Texas State Veterans Home, 2200 Joe B Rushing Road, Fort Worth, Texas, 76119. e) There is no loading dock. Lift gates are required for delivery. f) Prior to delivery, GLO/VLB and 828 Design Firm will confirm and coordinate with the awarded Respondent on the delivery and installation schedule. g) Provider is responsible for any damage to walls, ceilings, floors, etc. that are damaged as a result of installation. h) Any identifying device which is scratched or defaced will be rejected. i) Provider is responsible for the removal of all packaging materials. j) Warranty: Upon completion of the work and final acceptance by the GLO, the Awarded Bidder shall furnish the GLO with the maximum available manufacturer's warranty on all installed products The GLO/VLB intend to award one or more purchase orders for the goods requested under this Solicitation. The GLO/VLB, at its own discretion and subject to applicable limitations in the General Appropriations Act and other law, may extend any contract awarded pursuant to this Solicitation, upon mutual written agreement of the parties and in accordance with the Contract.
