As of May 24, 2022, the owner has selected Boh Bros. as Construction Manager. A timeline for construction as not yet been established. The Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans (Board) would like to repair the substructure of the wharf at its Jourdan Road Terminal (Project) on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway in New Orleans, Louisiana as described in Appendix A. The Board intends to use the Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) delivery method for the Project, as authorized by Louisiana law pursuant to La. R.S. 38:2225.2.4. Use of the CMAR delivery method for this Project is in the public interest and beneficial to the Board for reasons including, but not limited to, the following: collaboration between the contractor and design engineer team allowing identification and resolution of constructability concerns, minimization of the risk of construction and design disputes, facilitate completion of the Project within the established budget and an agreed upon guaranteed maximum price (GMP). All inquiries shall be directed to the Procurement Department at procurement@portnola.com by March 18, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. (CDT). The Board will issue addenda to this RFQ if necessary. Questions and answers, addenda to this RFQ, and all forms required will be posted on the Board website . All firms registered on the Board website as a plan holder for this RFQ will be notified via electronic mail that new information has been posted. Proposers are responsible for disseminating pertinent information to their sub-contractors, if any. The construction phase budget for this project is 5 million dollars.
