Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Lindsay, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes ("the City") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for 2019-12-CQ Fairbairn Road Bridge Reconstruction, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). The work will include, but not limited to, all labour, materials, fuel and equipment to: - Construct cofferdams and set up dewatering scheme to allow construction to be completed in the dry. - Excavate and remove existing concrete arch culvert with CSP extension and all associated footings, etc. - Construct suitable subgrade using geotextile and clear stone. - Install new precast concrete box culverts and cutoff walls. - Construct reinforced concrete distribution slab over new culverts and apply waterproofing membrane. - Construct reinforced concrete approach slabs. - Install armour stone retaining wall in all four quadrants of culvert. - Backfill excavation and restore disturbed areas. - Widen roadway shoulders and install new steel beam guiderail/end treatments. - Pave between limits of construction with HL3.
