Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Smithville, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Excavate an opening into the crawlspace below the grade beam. Dewater and dry the crawlspace, remove and replace drainage plumbing drops from slab to underground branch piping. Provide unit pricing to repair any additional plumbing leaks identified. Install new duct and new supply and exhaust fans mounted in a new concrete areaway system outside the building to mechanically ventilate the crawlspace. Install new pipe from gutter downspouts to inlets on East side of building. Add new cutouts in sidewalk on West side to allow gutters to drain under side walk. Remove and replace sealant between sidewalk and building. Alternate 1: Apply closed cell foam insulation on underside of the crawlspace floor slab and the associated structure exposed with air-conditioned space above. Questions related to this RFP must be sent via the information request form. All questions must be received no later than February 25, 2019 4:00 PM. Questions received after this time will not be accepted. Questions will not be answered via telephone. All answers to any questions or inquiries will be posted on the webpage for all Suppliers to access. It is the intent of MD Anderson to respond to all questions and concerns; however, MD Anderson shall reserve the right to decline to respond to any question or concern. It is important to note that the supplier or suppliers selected to develop MD Anderson's RFP are not automatically qualified to engage with the Institution for purposes of implementing the recommended strategy or solutions. The engagement of contracted services for implementation can, at MD Anderson's discretion, be solicited via a second and separate Request for Proposal. Capitalized words or phrases appearing within this Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals or the Attachments hereto are defined herein, in the Owner's Standard Agreement attached hereto or in the Uniform General Conditions for University of Texas System Building Construction Contracts attached thereto. Response to RFI posted to Internet : March 1, 2019 Owner determines Respondent offering "Best Value" : April 4, 2019 Owner delivers agreement for execution to Selected Respondent : April 18, 2019 Selected Respondent delivers executed Agreement to Owner : April 25, 2019 Anticipated Date for Commencement of the Work : May 13, 2019 Contractor achieves Substantial Completion : February 7, 2020 Contractor achieves Final Completion : March 8, 2020
