Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Smithville, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a 25,000-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of October 16, 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** 1. Reinforced concrete sidewalks, driveways, curb ramps, and retaining walls. 2. Sidewalk drains, handrails, sign relocation, and associated work. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Smithville may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Smithville reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any minor informalities and irregularities in the bid documents. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. The successful Bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds on the forms furnished with the Proposal, in the amount of 100% of the total Contract price, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety.
