Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Freedom, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 39,000-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of August 14, 2019 this project has been abandoned and will not move forward. Work of this contract consists of a new 39,000 s.f. Town Hall, Police and Fire Department Facility. Work is scheduled to commence upon selection of a qualified contractor. Construction shall be completed by April 30, 2020. A single lump sum bid will be required for all of the work. Each bid shall be accompanied by the Bidder's Bond or Certified Check in the amount equal to at least 10 percent of the amount of the total bid, which shall be forfeited to the Town of Freedom in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a Contract. Any subcontractors unable to attend are responsible to review the information provided during the meeting through addendum. The Town of Freedom reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three (3) lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids
