Renovation of a municipal facility in Freedom, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of 09/29/2021 The start date has not been determined. The work, in general, will include the following schedule of work: A single lump sum project for the roof replacement for the Town Hall. The roof replacement will add insulation over an existing standing seam roof on a pre- -engineered building, with an EPDM membrane and new edge metal. Miscel laneous work will include adjusting vent heights, adjustment of roof curbs and removal of an exhaust fan. The proposals shall be submitted on the forms furnished with the specifications. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check payable to the owner equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal or a bid bond of a bonding company duly authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal. This proposal guarantee shall be subject to forfeiture as provided by law. Proposals shall not be withdrawn for a period of 45 days after the date of opening. The Town of Freedom reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposals and to waive any informalities therein. The Work will be substantially completed on or before November 19, 2021, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before December 31, 2021.
