Site work and paving for a civil project in Freedom, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
2024 Pavement Rehabilitation Project. The bid additive alternative includes the placement of approximately 750 tons of the surface layer of asphalt on Bell Court and Elk Lane. 3,550 linear feet of a two-foot gravel shoulder, 1,300 SF concrete driveway, and 300 SY asphalt driveway. Mobilization and traffic control are also included. The anticipated substantial completion date is November 1, 2024 and final completion date is November 15, 2024. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with them wage rate scale established by local wage rates. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
