The work for which Bids are requested includes: Proposal 1: Hot Mixed Asphalt (HMA) wedging and patching consisting of approximately 1,000 Tons placed on various portions of Township roads including Seeley Lane, Camp Rd, Museum Rd, Schmidt Rd, Clingerman Rd, Wilson Rd and other locations to be determined by the Town. Bids shall be based on wedging profile distortion and/or overlaying deteriorated pavement utilizing 5 LT 58-28 S Asphalt Mix. Proposal 1 shall provide a unit price per ton including sweeping and tack coat on existing surfaces in wedge areas. Bids shall include the minimum quantity threshold for the unit price provided and include a proposed date range for completion of the work. Proposal 2: Fine grading existing base and double chip sealing a 21 foot wide surface on Schmidt Rd beginning at CTH DD extending approximately 3,500 feet west. Aggregate material for fine grading will be supplied by the Town. Proposal 2 work also includes approximately 1 mile of s ingle chip seal on Koch Rd beginning at CTH DD extending east to Diamond Hill Rd. Seal coating proposals shall be based on - inch minus crushed quartzite chips utilizing PG 58-28, 5% cutback asphalt material. Proposals shall include a unit price for Town consideration of additional work at unnamed locations in the Township. Proposals shall include a date range for completion of the work but no later than September 1, 2025. Proposals including alternative aggregate materials may be considered. Interested bidders may submit bids for each proposal or in combination. No bid proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a current certificate of insurance. The Town reserves the right to reduce the total scope of work as needed to fit the available budget. Materials and workmanship shall be supplied and performed in accordance with the latest edition of the State of Wisconsin Standard Specifications for Highway & Bridge Construction.
