The work consists of Ridgeview Area Street Reconstruction and Nicolet Road Water Main and Road Reconstruction projects. The project includes sanitary sewer (551 L.F.), water main (2,192 L.F.), storm sewer (6,120 L.F.), curb and gutter (7,795 L.F.), driveways, sidewalk, asphalt (6,575 tons), concrete pavements (455 S.Y.), and landscape restoration. All bids shall be submitted via QuestCDN vBid(TM) in accordance with the Bid Forms included in the Contract Documents. Project documents are available for inspection at McMahon Associates, Inc., and can be downloaded from the McMahon Associates website or QuestCDN. To be a Plan Holder or Bidder, firms must download the Bidding Documents. Digital documents require a non-refundable fee, and online bid submission is also available for an additional fee. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond in an amount not less than 10% of the maximum bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will execute and file the required contract, performance/payment bonds, and insurance certification within 15 days after award notice. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities, or accept bids that best serve its interests. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the scheduled opening without owner consent. The contract letting is subject to the applicable provisions of Wisconsin Statutes. Replies will be issued by Addenda. Questions received less than 5-days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
