Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Freedom, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; bridge / tunnel; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of March 02, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded by May or June. The work includes pavement rehabilitation of approximately 795 feet of Mariah Drive, 475 feet of Westwind Court, 470 feet of Dorothy Jane Court, 710 feet of Mathison Road, 1,035 feet of Meadowlark Lane, and 1,925 feet of Echo Valley Road. Pavement rehabilitation of three parking lots: Town Hall Parking Lot, Town Shop Parking Lot, and Historical Society Parking Lot. Work will involve pulverizing existing pavement, grading, asphalt paving in roadways, parking lots and driveways, gravel shoulders, concrete sidewalks, culverts replacement, traffic control, erosion control, and pavement markings. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by bid security made payable to the owner in an amount of 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check, or an electronic bid bond issued by a surety. If after 15 days the bidder fails to do so, the certified check or bid bond will be forfeited to the owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
