Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the Long Ranch Park Ramp and Path Improvements Project a Federally Funded Project. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications and special conditions related hereto. The bid award will be selected according to the lowest responsive base bid, item BP.2 on page BP-2 of the bid proposal. This is a Federal-aid contract and the requirements for such shall apply. On a Federal-aid contract, any Contractor otherwise qualified by the State of Nevada to perform such work is not required to be licensed nor to submit application for license in advance of submitting a bid or having such bid considered, provided, however, that such exception does not constitute a waiver of the State's right under its license laws to require a Contractor, determined to be a successful bidder, to be licensed to do business in the State of Nevada with a Class A in connection with the award of the contract to him. Questions regarding this bid must be received a minimum of four (4) working days prior to bid opening. Bidders, Their Representatives, and All Other Interested Persons May Be Present During the Bid Opening. A Tabulation of the Bid Proposal Will Be Posted on Carson City's Website Within 48 Hours. Award Recommendation Will Be Made by the Carson City Purchasing and Contracts Department. Notice of Protest of Award of Contract Must Be Submitted in Writing to Carson City Purchasing and Contract Within Five (5) Working Days After the City Makes a Recommendation to Award the Contract. Bid Award Will Be Made by the Carson City Board of Supervisors and Is Tentatively Scheduled for April 4, 2019 and Their Decision Is Final.
