Each bid proposal must be submitted on the bid/proposal form provided in the Contract Documents and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Cudahy and marked "Bid" with the project name. The contract includes the reconstruction of a 14' alley on the 3800 block between E. Allerton Ave. and E. Van Norman Avenue and a full concrete roadway reconstruction on Kingan Avenue between E. Layton Ave. and E. Plankinton Avenue. The projects which are located within a 1/4 mile of each other can be done simultaneously or at separate times. Furnish & Install Topsoil, Sod, & Watering 220 SY All bidders shall bid in accordance with, and shall bid upon the forms provided. STATUTORY PROVISIONS: The contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes, including Section 62.15, 66.09, 779.14 and 779.16. No bid will be received unless a certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Cudahy, orasatisfactory bid bond in an amount no less than five percent (5%) of the bid, shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the Agreement and a 100% performance bond and payment bond, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set forth, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Cudahy as liquidated damages. BID WITHDRAWAL: No bid shall be withdrawn foraperiod of ninety (90) days after the bid opening date without the consent of the City of Cudahy. BID REJECTION: The City of Cudahy reserves the right to accept any bid most advantageous to the City, waive any technicality or reject any or all bids. Bidder will be required to submit prequalification prior to the award date. Review and acceptance of prequalification will be made by the City as part of the award.
