It also consists of a storm lateral project to include the connection of private property sump pump discharges at the front of the home to the City storm sewer as part of the MMSD PPII program The estimate of quantities is as follows: 6,500 LF Furnish & Install 6" SDR 26 Storm Lateral 75 EA Furnish & Install Connection to Exist Sump Pump Discharge 2,045 LF Furnish & Install 8"-18" Storm Sewer 45 VF Furnish & Install 48" Storm Manhole 23 VF Furnish & Install 72" Doghouse Manhole 200 VF Furnish & Install 24"x36" Catch Basin 15,000 SF Furnish & Place Temporary Asphalt Pavement 400 SY Furnish & Place Topsoil & Sod. All bidders shall bid in accordance with, and shall bid upon the forms provided. The contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes, including Section 62.15, 66.0901, 779.14 through 779.16. No bid will be received unless a certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Cudahy, or a satisfactory bid bond in an amount no less than five percent (5%) of the bid, shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the Agreement and a 100% performance bond and payment bond, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set forth, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City of Cudahy as liquidated damages. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid opening date without the consent of the City of Cudahy. The City of Cudahy reserves the right to accept any bid most advantageous to the City, waive any technicality or reject any or all bids.
