Site work for a civil project in Riverside, California. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

Victoria Recharge Bain Project is being undertaken as part of the Arlington Basin Management Plan to stabilize declining groundwater levels of the Basin, increase local water supply by utilizing of currently unused stormwater and dry-weather flows, and improve Basin water quality. The Victoria site, located in the City of Riverside, is an approximate 10-acre parcel at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Jackson Street. Ongoing construction includes two recharge basins, a stormwater detention basin, and other appurtenant facilities. Water flows into the site at the southwest corner, where it enters a stormwater detention basin, where sediment suspended in the stormwater is allowed to settle out. This basin reduces required maintenance throughout the system caused by sediment build-up. The water then flows through a concrete channel and enters the recharge basins, where it is allowed to percolate into the groundwater. During large storm events, the water is allowed to flow through a bypass channel, which runs along the west side of the recharge basins, and discharges into an existing storm drain structure on Victoria Avenue. The proposed culvert crossing will replace the existing stormwater crossing, which currently consists of a below-grade 16-inch low-flow pipeline and a grade-level Arizona-type high-flow crossing. Low flows and local nuisance water cross Victoria Avenue within the below-grade pipeline. During storm events, water is conveyed across the roadway, within the Arizona-type crossing, and discharges to the downstream natural channel. Stormwater has historically concentrated at the Victoria Avenue crossing, traversing the roadway above ground and sheet flowing across the roadway. On the north side of the roadway, stormwater cascades into the natural channel, continuing north to Lincoln Avenue.
