Questions must be submitted on or before 3/13/2019 12:00 PM The project involves the reconstruction of a series of ADA ramps at eight intersections along South Market, East Ridge, and South Prospect Streets. The work includes but is not limited to concrete demolition, pavement removal, curb installation, stormwater improvements, installation/replacement of ADA ramps, pavement restoration, and all materials, labor and equipment necessary for a complete installation. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled, but prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. The limits of work are marked out in white paint. Any contractor who does not do so and submits a bid does so at his own risk. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids.
