The Oskaloosa City Council will meet in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 220 South Market Street, Oskaloosa, IA, 52577, on March 2, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. Construction of a new Early Childhood Education and Recreation Center of approximately 88,434 s.f. for the City of Oskaloosa in partnership with the Oskaloosa Community School District and the Mahaska County YMCA. The building will contain YMCA programs including: gymnasium, natatorium, locker rooms, community rooms, and fitness studios and wellness areas on the second floor. The facility will also house early childhood programs. The YMCA will operate a daycare wing serving infants to four-year-olds and operate (11) preschool classrooms on behalf of the School District.
