Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Stratford, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for the construction of a 141,691-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
The Stratford High School building intends to be built on the site which has been selected as the Town of Stratford's new Community Campus. DTI are in negotiation with the Town of Stratford to acquire approximately 35 acres of property within the new Community Campus site for the construction of the school. As part of the Prime Consultant's scope of work services, DTI will require preliminary pre-design services that include assisting DTI and (ELL) in preparing site concepts that will permit DTI to finalized the exact number of acres needed for the Stratford High School site, and establish the property boundaries (allowing for completion of legal and topographic surveys) in order to permit DTI to complete the purchasing of the land for the high school TIMELINE: Construction of the new school is scheduled to commence in the spring/summer of 2023, with the completion of the project in the Summer of 2025. Sub trade tenders are expected to be issued between April-November 2023.
