Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in North York, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 3,596-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; 2,775-square-foot parking garage; and 4,363-square-foot office development.
The purpose of this project is to provide a new park maintenance yard for the Edwards Gardens and Toronto Botanical Garden. Scope of work includes a new 1-storey building with a greenhouse facility, office area and vehicle garage. There will be a new asphalt driveway and bus loop into the site along with new staff parking and a loading space for the greenhouse. A new bioswale will be provided at the east portion of the site and a new berm to the south of the site; both features will be provided with new shrubs and plantings. New ornamental fencing will secure the facility and there will be new vehicle gates at the entrance of the site and into the courtyard. The new facility will provide a new office space, greenhouse, and vehicle garage for 25 staff at Edwards Gardens. TIMELINE: Owner is no longer providing updates on this project.
