Site work and paving for a road / highway in North York, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Construction of a new grade-separated crossing of the Canadian Pacific Rail (CPR) corridor providing pedestrians and cyclists a connection to the Don Mills Trail from the Wynford Green Drive extension. The bridge will connect people walking and cycling between the Don Mills Trails north of the rail corridor to the proposed community and ravine and trail system to the south. The structure includes: 6.1 metre wide open-air bridge for pedestrians and cyclists, Steel I-girder structure, Accessible elevated ramps, an additional staircase connecting the bridge for more direct travel to Street C. TIMELINE: Consultant has completed the Don Mills Crossing Trail Bridge Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) to identify a recommended plan for a new pedestrian and cyclist bridge crossing the Canadian Pacific rail corridor to connect the existing Don Mills trail to the Wynford Drive extension. Environmental Study Report has been completed approved. Project will be covered at time of tender. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
