Renovation of a municipal facility in Pierre, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
All proposals shall be made on the bid forms included with the specifications and must be executed in accordance with the requirements contained in the Instruction to Bidders of the Specifications. Incomplete or incorrect bid forms may be rejected. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or draft in the amount of 5% of the base bid and all add alternates and drawn on a State or National Bank or a 10% bid bond issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota and made payable to Hughes County, Pierre, South Dakota. The Hughes County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities therein The Work includes but is not limited to the following major systems: A. BASE BID: 1. Replace the existing convectors where noted within the facility with new fan coils. 2. Replace selected piping where noted within the facility. 3. Rebalance the existing hydronic system. 4. Install existing pump as noted. B. Alternate #1: 1. Replace the existing convectors where noted within the facility with new fan coils. Fan coils shall include FC 1-1, FC 2-7, and FC 3-6. C. Alternate #2: 1. Replace the existing convectors where noted within the facility with new fan coils. Fan coils shall include FC 1-2, FC 2-1, FC 2-2, FC 2-4, FC 2-12, FC 3-1, and FC 3-9
