The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct 12-inch Waterline Along Kroesche Road and I-69 in the City of Rosenberg, Fort Bend County, Texas. The project includes but is not limited to providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and plans to construct approximately 1,950 linear feet of 12-inch waterline by open cut and trenchless construction methods, including all valves, fittings, and related appurtenances. The project is located along Kroesche Road towards I-69 within a dedicated 25-foot wide utility easement and then continues east along I-69 southbound frontage road for approximately 1,230 feet within a dedicated 25-foot wide utility easement. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. If the amount of the bid exceeds $50,000.00, Official Bidder's Bond signed by the Surety and Bidder, Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or letter of credit from a FDIC insured bank in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each proposal. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the prices in any bid, the City reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. The award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid as determined by the City, or to the bidder who provides goods and services at the best value to the City.
