Site work for a water / sewer project in Rosenberg, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct Seabourne Creek Park Reclaimed Water System Expansion to Bryan Road and 16-inch Waterline Along IH 69 in the City of Rosenberg, Fort Bend County, Texas. The project includes but is not limited to providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and plans to construct approximately 5,885 linear feet of 10-inch reclaimed water line, approximately 20 linear feet of 8-inch reclaimed water line, and approximately 825 linear feet of 16-inch water line by open cut and trenchless construction methods, including all valves, fittings, and related appurtenances. The project for the proposed reclaimed waterline is located along the northern property of Seabourne Creek Park heading eastward towards the wooded area west of FM 2218, continues northeast along FM 2218, and then connects to an existing reclaimed water line along the east right-of-way of Bryan Road. The proposed 16-inch waterline alignment is located along the north right-of-way of IH 69 from the east entrance of Texas State Technical College to an existing 16-inch waterline within a dedicated 25 utility easement. If the amount of the bid exceeds $50,000.00, Official Bidders Bond signed by the Surety and Bidder, or a Cashiers Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each proposal. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the prices in any bid, the City reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. The award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid as determined by the City, or to the bidder who provides goods and services at the best value to the City. Pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Sec. 271.905 and 271.9051, The City may award the bid to a bidder whose principal place of business is within the city of Rosenberg, if the local bidders bid is within five percent (5%) of the lowest bid price received by the city from a bidder who is not a resident of the city. Priority may only be given to a local bidder in a contract for construction services in an amount of less than $100,000, or in a contract for other purchases in an amount of less than $500,000; provided that the City Council determines in writing that the local bidder offers the municipality the best Invitation 2/2 combination of contract price and additional economic development opportunities created by the contract award. Preference of local bidders may not be considered in the purchase of telecommunications services or information services as those terms are defined by 47 U.S.C. Section 153.
