Construction of an addition that will house a surgery unit and medical device reprocessing unit (MDRU), electro-mechanical services. The project realization will improve the essential proximity links between the MDRU and the operating theater and offer a space and premises meeting current standards. The new premises will house an additional operating room and have more stretchers in the recovery room. The scope of the project also includes the construction of a side addition for new generators and a three-level parking for 348 cars. Interior renovations are also included. The total value of the project including the construction work, furniture and equipment, as well as management and temporary financing costs amounts to $96M. TIMELINE: The owner is implementing the project by construction packages. Tender for the package relating to preparatory work and partial demolition has been issued, awarded and can be followed in the report under CRM ID name: Preparatory Work - Santa Cabrini Ospedale Hospital. Construction started. Subsequent package tenders relating to structural construction are anticipated in early/spring 2023 and will be followed in new separate reports. Note.
