FY2019-20 Neighborhood Roads Rehabilitation, Repaving, and Reconstruction Program Project ID: 102-01 FY2019-20 Description: The selection of streets is determined using the PASER surveys conducted annually. A mix of fixes (rehabilitation, repair, and reconstruction) will be applied to optimize the funds used to improve the overall condition of local roads as reflected by an increase in the overall PASER rating for the City. This is an asset management approach to road maintenance, which considers the right fix at the right place at the right time. There are a great variety of road maintenance techniques that are available; the PASER rating of each segment is used to help select the appropriate fix. There are a wide range of costs associated with these fixes. The value of comparatively low cost rehabilitation, repair and reclamation techniques, when applied at the right time, are significant. Rehabilitation, repair, and reconstruction will result in a decrease in maintenance costs. As of April 18, 2025, this project is included in the City of Novi's CIP. This project is funded annually and is expected to be completed through in-house or through an annual service contract. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
