Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The work of this project is located in the City of Minneapolis, in the Minnehaha Park area, near Longfellow Gardens. The project parallels E. Minnehaha Parkway (and Nawadaha Boulevard), between 38th Avenue South and Minnehaha Avenue. Additional rehabilitation work will also occur at two existing vortex drop shafts located along TH 55. One drop shaft is located near E. 50th Street and the other drop shaft is located near E. 52nd Street, and TH 55. A large temporary wastewater conveyance system is needed to allow for the various existing structure and tunnel rehabilitation activities to occur.
