Site work for a civil project in Carthage, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Installation of a new Concrete Clear Well for the New Water Treatment Plant at 1852 East U.S. Highway 136 in the City of Carthage, Hancock County, Illinois. Work includes, but is not limited to, the several items and quantities of work as follows: Furnish and Install a 62' x 62' x 15' P.C. Concrete Clear Well and associated appurtenances. Also, installation of 54 LF concrete ditch. Work includes all site grading and seeding work. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the prevailing rate of wages will be paid to all workmen, laborers, and mechanics performing work under this project, and that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Contractor shall meet the requirements of the Davis- Bacon and Related Acts (DBRA). It is the intent of the City of Carthage to award the work to the lowest responsible bidder, but the City reserves the right, if in the judgment of its City Council, any bid or bids received are not acceptable, to reject any or all bids and also reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept such bid which the City Council deems to be in the best interest of the City of Carthage, Illinois. The successful bidder must be actively registered through the System for Award Management prior to executing the contract and beginning work.
