Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Collingwood, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The proposed scope of work is to perform various removals and disposal of existing brickwork, and insulation with replacement new masonry block and insulation. As well as isolated repair of damage to concrete components on several existing structures at the Town of Collingwood Wastewater Treatment Plant while continuing to maintain safe access by the Town Staff to permit continued operations and maintenance at the plant. The intent of the prequalification is to solicit qualified and experienced service providers who have completed similar projects of size and scope and are able to assume the role of the General Contractor in performing all required work on the project. The proposed scope of work is to conduct removal of existing brickwork and insulation and replacement with new insulation and architectural block masonry. The scope of work also includes isolated repairs to damaged cast in place concrete components at several locations in accordance with engineering design drawings and specifications at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The tasks include, but are not limited to; removal and disposal of existing brickwork and insulation on several structures, repair of steel lintels and subsequent installation of architectural block. Some repairs/replacement of metal flashing may be required. Surface repairs to cast in place concrete will be required at multiple locations. The structures include two circular sewage digestor tanks and adjacent Control Buildings as depicted in the photos and drawings contained in Appendix C.
