There is currently a contract in place for the provision of emergency generator maintenance & service which is due to expire in May of 2024. The Town of Collingwood has 20 emergency generators at several different sites (a list generators and site addresses is provided as Attachment B to the RFP Particulars). The purpose of this contract is to enter into an agreement with an experienced service provider for the provision of all scheduled semi-annual and annual maintenance of these generators and for service on an as required basis. In addition to the scheduled maintenance above, there will also be three (3) sites requiring monthly inspections to be completed. Time-frame for Delivery of Goods or Services, or the Duration of the Contract The term of the contract is to be for a period of two (2) years, with an option in favour of the Town to extend the contract on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to three (3) one-year periods (total of 5 years) upon mutual agreement. Site walk through note: After a brief description of the service required, the following sites will be visited; Public Works Building, 545 Tenth Line North, Collingwood OPP Station, 201 Ontario Street, Collingwood Birch Street Pumping Station, 3 Birch Street, Collingwood Attendance will be recorded at the first site and participants will be asked to register and sign in. For each subsequent site Town staff will record attendance based upon the original registration. Bidders are encouraged to attend the site meetings to fully understand the site locations and any limitations that might exist. As well attendance ensure that potential bidders hear and understand any conversation that may take place.
