This Request for Quotations is an invitation by the Town of Collingwood to prospective bidders to submit non-binding quotations for the provision of Supply & Delivery of Screened Winter Sand and Pugmill Mixing/Stacking Services The proposed work shall include the supervision, labour, materials, and equipment necessary for the supply and delivery of screened winter sand. It will also be the responsibility of the successful contractor to coordinate and mix the treated salt that the Town will have stored on site. This process will require the use of pugmill services to ensure a uniform mixture of sand to salt is being established. The pugmill services will be required to provide a post-production report to identify all production results and finished product details. It should be noted that the stockpiling of the sand/salt mix in the sand dome shall be part of the RFQ. The term of the contract is to be for a period of Three (3) Winter Seasons, starting October 1, 2024, to May 1, 2027, with an option in favour of the Town to extend the contract on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to Two (2) Winter season periods including 2028/2029 season.
