This Invitation To Tender is an invitation by the Town of Collingwood to prospective bidders to submit binding bids for the provision of construction services associated with Bridge 08 (Oak Street) and Bridge 09 (Second Street) Improvements as further described in the ITT Particulars (the Deliverables). The following is a general description of the Work to be completed under the Contract: - reconstruction of the intersection of Oak Street and Second Street, including road base, asphalt, barrier curbs and sidewalk on the east side of Oak Street and north side of Second Street; - minor storm sewer works (catch basin and storm sewer pipe); - construction of cast-in-place concrete retaining wall with pedestrian railing along the east side of Oak Street from Bridge 09 on Second Street to the inlet of the box culvert (Bridge 08) under Oak Street; - rehabilitation of Bridge 09 (Second Street) including localized concrete removals and patching of deck, sidewalk, soffit and fascia as required, crack injection, plus widening of north sidewalk; - culvert (Bridge 08) and bridge (Bridge 09) waterproofing; and - watercourse scour and stabilization works.
