Renovation of a mixed-use development in Warwick, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The proposed scopes of work include renovations and alteration type of work. The proposed renovations and alterations will occur on the interior and exterior of the facility. High School Three (3) sets of Toilet Rooms which are dated, worn, and in need of upgrades including handicap accessibility will be renovated. Providing accessible doors will require repairs to adjacent corridor finishes. The existing greenhouse adjacent to Agriculture Shop is deteriorated, has water infiltration, and is in need of repair and replacement. Greenhouse glass and framing system will be replaced with a prefabricated system. The existing Agricultural Shop, and spaces in the Robotics Lab will be renovated and upgraded with new equipment, casework and finishes. Existing window systems in the old wing that are failing and have water infiltration are in need of removal and replacement. The existing Loading Dock area is currently exposed to weather elements. A prefabricated canopy system will be installed at this area. Doors and hardware in the existing second floor Science Wing Classrooms are worn and deteriorated and will be repaired and replaced. Numerous areas of deteriorated brick and mortar joints will be repaired. Park Avenue Elementary The proposed scopes of work include renovation and alteration type of work. Through the years of climate and weather exposure, there are numerous areas of deteriorated brick veneer and deteriorated mortar joints in need of restoration and repair. Age and daily wear has caused existing flooring surfaces to become in need of repair and replacement. Currently there is trade and utility systems' being upgraded throughout entire building. This will in affect cause minor patch, repair and refinish damaged finishes to match existing. Bus Garage The proposed scopes of work include an addition type of work. The existing Bus Maintenance Building currently is too small and proper maintenance has become an obstacle. The proposed addition will provide necessary space District requires. New addition will maintain existing look. New addition will include extended concrete aprons along with three (3) new overhead door assemblies. Bus Wash The proposed scopes of work include addition and equipment upgrade to Bus Wash portion of building. The current Bus Wash is attached to the Bus Storage Facility. The existing Bus Wash is currently operating with aged and worn equipment and is in need of replacement. With this said, by upgrading Bus Wash equipment, renovations and an addition must be provided. The addition is required to house support equipment for upgraded Bus Wash equipment. New addition will match existing facility with similar look. Existing Bus Wash facility will be renovated as required for new equipment.
