It is the intention of the City of Highland Village, Texas to contract with one general contractor for a turn-key job for furnishing services for removal and installation the Highland Shores water well rehabilitation and upgrade Project including all related appurtenances in the City of Highland Village, Texas. The water well shall be ready for full duty service no later than May 31, 2019 Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount of no less than five percent (5%) from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. The right is reserved by the Mayor and the City Council as the interest of the City may require to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. The right is reserved by the Mayor and the City Council to select any bid that will best serve the interests of the City. The Bidder (Proposer) must supply all the information required by the Proposal Form. A Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond will be required by the Owner; each bond shall be in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount. No officer or employee of the City of Highland Village shall have a financial interest, direct or indirect, in any contract with the City of Highland Village.
