The Village of Lake Zurich is requesting bids from qualified firms and/or individuals on behalf of the Municipal Partnering Initiative (MPI) which includes the municipalities of Bannockburn, Gurnee, Lake Zurich, Lincolnshire, Round Lake Beach, Vernon Hills, and Wheeling. The awarded contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for concrete flatwork construction including sidewalks, driveways, curb & gutter, and roadway patches. The successful bidder shall warrant and guarantee that the bid price will be firm and that there will not be an escalation at time of construction. The Village of Lake Zurich reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any technicality, informality or irregularity in the proposals received, and to disregard all nonconforming or conditional proposals or counter-proposals and to hold the proposal for sixty (60) days from the opening date set forth. The Village further reserves the right in its sole discretion to award the proposal to the most responsible bidder whose offer best responds in quality, fitness and capacity to the requirements of the proposed work or usage and therefore is in the best interest of the Village.
