The Project involves all labor, equipment, materials, and supplies required for Waterproofing, roof and exterior Repairs in and around the Building in accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Walter P. Moore (the "Project Architect") dated December 14, 2018, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A. Substantial Completion of the Project shall occur on or before August 16, 2019, time being of the essence. All questions and requests for clarification must be submitted in writing, preferably by email, to the Point of Contact by the Questions Deadline, and must reference RFP730-19111 Fine Arts Building - Water Intrusion Repairs. The Point of Contact will publish all questions and requests for clarification with their respective responses as an addendum, as well as any other addenda to this RFP, at the Electronic State Business Daily portal Award 4/23/2019 Notice to Proceed 5/13/2019 Substantial Completion 8/16/2019 Final Completion 2/14/2020 Owner designates the following person as its representative (the "Point of Contact") in connection with this RFP: Mr. Hasan Jamil Purchasing Department 5000 Gulf Freeway ERP 1, Room 205 Houston, TX 77204-5015 hrjamil@central.uh.edu Owner makes no representation of any kind that an award will be made as a result of this RFP or for the Services. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, waive any formalities or minor technical inconsistencies in Proposal, or reissue this RFP or delete any items/requirements from this RFP when deemed to be in Owner's best interest. Selection of a Proposal, if any, will be made in strict compliance with the requirements of Texas Education Code 51.9335.
