Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility.
The current maintenance facility was constructed in the mid 1980's and has not received significant upgrades or additions as park maintenance and operation needs have increased. Some equipment is stored outside and exposed to all weather conditions, thus reducing the utility and lifespan of the equipment. Improvements to the maintenance facility campus will provide an opportunity to have a properly sized structure that can serve growing park operational needs. Furthermore, additional office space is needed to improve staffing capabilities and efficiency. Phase 2 of the project includes a new office space facility in 2023. The project is included in the county's 2019-2023 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of August 2, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
