Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Emporia, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The principle work to be performed under this contract consists of, but not limited to improvement of the following: Pre-treatment Screen SBR/Digester Tertiary Cloth Filters Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection Equipment Yard Pump Station Post Aeration Control Buildings Backup Generator Potable Well Chemical Feed System Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The Engineer for this project is B&B Consultants, Inc. Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:15 am -5:00 pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents may also be examined at the GCGB, address listed above, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9 am-4 pm Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Authority nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing office. A performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Evidence of proper registration with the Virginia State Registration Board of Contractors, pursuant to Chapter 7 of Title 54 of the Code of Virginia, must be submitted with each bid. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received, to negotiate with the low bidder, and/or to re-advertise the project for bids.
