Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,500-square-foot educational facility.
The Division of Facilities Development and Management, hereinafter termed DFDM, hereby to announces that it is advertising for bids from certified contractors for the above project. In general the work includes the installation of approximately 12,500 S.F. of new luxury vinyl tile and base. The existing floor tile, linoleum and carpet will be removed by the state under separate abatement contract. Existing floor adhesives and mastics will remain and are NOT scheduled for removal. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements
