Renovation of a water / sewer project in Medina, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Base Bid work consists of the following improvements at the WWTP which will be addressed as part of this project: -Replacement of the existing RBC system with new units that have been pre-purchased by the Owner. Work includes removal of the existing RBC units and assembly of new units inplace. -Installation of new stop gate assemblies. -Installation of a new air scour system within the existing RBC tanks. Work includes installation of new sidecar diffusers, blowers, and the furnishing and installation of all piping and appurtenances equipment required for the system to operate. The blowers and sidecar system have been pre-purchased by the Owner. -Installation of a new building to house the blowers, electrical equipment and controls. Work includes construction of building on a new foundation, site grading around the building, walks and drives, and all appurtenances work required for the blowers, electrical equipment and controls to operate. -Replacement of existing emergency backup generator with new larger generator. -All electrical work as required for the above items to operate as required. Funding for this project involves a loan through the New York State Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund (CWSRF), which is administered by the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYSEFC). SRF loans mandate the fulfillment of NYSEFC requirements relating to MBE/WBE utilization.
