The scope of work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the installation of a Submersible Pump Station consisting of a 10' diameter wetwell, valve vault, 104 square foot control building, standby generator, 61 LF of 8" gravity sewer, 275 LF of 10" pvc force main, 30 lf of 6" pvc service line and the demolition of the existing pump station. Work shall include the testing of 5 previously constructed manholes and 458 LF of previously constructed 8" gravity sanitary sewer line. The City of Frankfort, Kentucky reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, and to select that bid which it determines to be in its best interest. The award of this bid will be made on the basis of the lowest and best evaluated bid price as described in KRS 45A.365. The City intends to issue a contract for work to construct a 705 gpm pump station. The contract and/or purchase order shall be issued to the lowest and best-evaluated bidder responding to this invitation to bid. The contract shall be provided in accordance with the stated specifications in Article IV - Proposal Specifications, and Article V - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS, of this invitation. The City's Purchasing Agent shall notify the successful bidder. After notification of the bid award to the successful bidder, the work specified by the bid package shall be coordinated with and installed as required by the City of Frankfort Sewer Department.
