Renovation of a swimming pool in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
This project is to bring Bender Pool into ADA compliance per the DOJ settlement agreement. The City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter such contracts as it deems in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to defer acceptance of any submittal for 45 calendar days after the bids have been received and opened. Bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code, in the amount of FIVE percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price.
