A brief summary of the Work involved in this Contract is for the restoration of the shoreline along Confederation Beach Park at three separate locations. Scope of Work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: o Mobilization, supply, install, maintenance and removal of all temporary site protection fencing, signage and construction access o Removal and disposal of existing site materials as required o Earthworks including excavation of new armour stone area to subgrade, the removal, breaking and stockpiling of any concrete rubble or structures, stockpiling existing armour stone for reuse, and grading o Supply and installation of armour stone of various sizes as per details o Supply and installation of 800R geotextile to cover subgrade o Supply and installation of various Rip Rap stone o Restore beach at top and bottom of embankment with excavated sand and gravel from stockpile as per details. Spread/regrade surplus material across immediate beach area o Supply and install 150mm topsoil, fine grade and sod to top of embankment between Rip Rap and existing asphalt path. Successful Bidder to provide: Performance security (bond only accepted): 50% of the Total Contract Price. Successful Bidder to provide: Labour and Material Payment security (bond only accepted): 50% of the Total Contract Price.
