Site work for a water / sewer project in New London, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of New London seeks a qualified Contractor to perform the construction of water mains along Aitchison Drive. Bids must be submitted on the "Bid Form" included in the Project Manual, in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked SEALED BID FOR Construction Project Aitchison Drive Water Main, with bid number and the time and date of bid opening as described below. Bids may be mailed or hand delivered to the Purchasing Office, 13 Masonic Street, New London, CT 06320. Questions must be submitted no later than 12:00 noon on April 22, 2019. If determined to be necessary or required, addenda will be issued and placed on the City of New London Website. Any questions regarding specifications, policies and procedures are to be directed to the Engineer (Kleinfelder, Inc.), Attention: Thomas Loto, PE, BCEE (tloto@kleinfelder.com) with copy (CC) to the Purchasing Agent, Dedra Aker (daker@ci.newlondon.ct.us). The work to be performed under this contract consists of approximately 1,800 linear feet of Water Main Replacement along Aitchison Drive and Aitchison Drive. Each Bid shall be submitted in strict accordance with "00100 - Instructions to Bidders" of the Project Manual. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive technical defects, irregularities or any informality in any bid when such action is deemed in the best interest of the City; decision is final.
