The GPIDC Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project generally consists of the trenchless rehabilitation of 5,750 linear feet of 8-inch and 1,650 linear feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer main utilizing cured-in-place pipe lining, trenchless rehabilitation of 35 manholes, 8 lateral replacements, 3 excavated sewer main spot repairs, and other work as specified and indicated on the Construction Drawings. All BIDDERS who will be submitting bids to the Authority must register and purchase a complete set of the Bid Documents from Systems Design Engineering, Inc. Copies of the Bid Documents shall be obtained and can be examined at the office of Systems Design Engineering, Inc., 1032 James Drive, Leesport, PA 19533. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Surety Company's Bid Bond on the form provided in the Bid Documents, naming as payee or Obligee, North Manheim Township Authority, Schuylkill County in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid submitted. The Surety Company must be acceptable to said Authority. Wages paid are subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961, P.L. 987 as amended and supplemented. The Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of 1955, P.L. 744, No. 222, as amended June 25,1997 by Act 34 of 1997, 43 P.S. õõ 951-963, shall apply to this Contract. North Manheim Township Authority, Schuylkill County, reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids, and to delete any item or portion of an item without affecting the bids on the remaining items or portion of items.
