Site work for a mixed-use development in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
As of 05/07/2019 The Hamlet Park Project was awarded to Miller Excavating Inc, in the amount of $284,063.95. A project schedule and start date has not been submitted yet for the project. In general, Work consists of the following approximate quantities: 1 EA Sanitary Sewer Structure 60 LF PVC Sanitary Sewer Pipe 850 LF HDPE Sanitary Sewer Pipe 610 LF DIP Watermain 400 CY Rock Excavation 6,300 CY Common Excavation 7,120 CY Screen Stockpiled Topsoil 10,850 CY Place Stockpiled Material 2,600 CY Haul Material Offsite 15 TN Bituminous Mixtures 1,900 LF Silt Fence 12 AC Turf Restoration Together with numerous related items of work, Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the Contract to the best interests of the Owner.
