As of October 22, 2025, construction documents are underway for this project. Information regarding a construction manager has not been determined. Construction is expected to begin March 2026. The Washington County Public Works Department is seeking architectural and engineering services to evaluate the existing Park Grove Library site and facility, provide a site feasibility study, programming, design and construction services for a new or remodeled library in Cottage Grove, MN. The intent of this section is to identify project specific requirements and deliverable services that will be incorporated into the overall contract for consultant design services. In general, at each step phase of the design process the Consultant will provide, for review and acceptance, adequate written information as to size, scope, cost and nature of all proposed work. The project includes a feasibility study of the reuse of the site and building, programming, design, site preparation, and construction of the new or remodeled Library. The selected consultant will be responsible for developing the site feasibility, planning, and programming coordination with the County for site development, schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction bidding, construction observation and administration, and construction punch list and closeout. The Consultant will be provided with a design standards document from the County to be used to guide the Consultant in design decisions.
