Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a stadium; for the demolition of a stadium; for the renovation of a stadium; for site work for a stadium; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project includes four (4) separate contracts described as follows: Contract 1A General Construction, Hess Ice Rink Addition & Renovations This project involves an addition to the existing Hess Ice Rink building enclosure to include a new entrance and renovations to the concession area, and a larger addition to house new locker rooms. Sitework will entail additional entrance drive and parking areas. The General Contractor will be responsible for General Construction, General Sitework, and coordination of the HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical prime contracts. Contract 1B HVAC Construction, Hess Ice Rink Addition & Renovations This project involves the HVAC work in the addition to the Hess Ice Rink building enclosure, and in the larger addition housing the new locker rooms. Contract 1C Plumbing Construction, Hess Ice Rink Addition & Renovations This project involves the Plumbing work in the addition to the Hess Ice Rink building enclosure, and in the larger addition housing the new locker rooms. It also includes storm water piping and catch basins in the parking areas. Contract 1D Electrical Construction, Hess Ice Rink Addition & Renovations This project involves the Electrical work in the addition to the Hess Ice Rink building enclosure, and in the larger addition housing the new locker rooms. It also includes site lighting on the exterior of the building and in the parking areas. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by cash, certified check, or Bidder's Bond in favor of Neshannock Township in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Proposal, as evidence the Bidder will accept and carry out the conditions of the Contract in case of award.The Successful Bidder will be required to enter into a Contract with Neshannock Township, and to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Bond in the full amount of the Bid and Certificates of Insurance. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof. All Federal and State statutes, Laws and Regulations, which deal with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources, must be adhered to in this project. The Successful Bidders will be required to comply with all Federal, State and local Laws and Regulations governing prevailing wage determination and fair employment practices which may be applicable to this Contract.
